Rio Verde FM has brought a new concept to radio broadcasting. A blend of distinctive musical selection and social responsibility forms the radio’s basis.

Unlike conventional broadcasters, Rio Verde FM is driven to create and assist social improvement initiatives rather than aim for commercial benefits. We believe in programs and campaigns to promote real citizenship and we seek to partner companies that share the same concerns.

Rio Verde FM programming features Brazilian music with its melodic and rhythmic richness, international appealing genres such as Jazz, and instrumental music. We also play new songs by artists who have begun their career more recently, making it possible for them to promote their work.

The radio first started its work in 2005 aiming at providing listeners with a more meaningful musical selection. We broadcast from Baependi, Minas Gerais, in the southeastern region of Brazil.

Rio Verde FM radio has been set up according to the Brazilian broadcasting legislation. Our studios are equipped with the newest in broadcasting technology in order to obtain the highest quality digital sound.
